She was all prepared for the happiest day of her life, but now, after overhearing a conversation between her parents, a heartbroken Maya (Karla Mosley) may start reconsidering her happily-ever-after ending on The Bold and the Beautiful.

Rick and Maya's Wedding Plans Encounter Unexpected Dramas

She was ready to start walking down the aisle toward Rick (Jacob Young) and to be escorted by her father, Julius (Obba Babtunde), who she thought had finally accepted her as bring transgender-but she instead overheard a conversation between he and Vivienne (Anna Marie Horsford) which revealed his true feelings. Now, devastated that she fell for her father's act, Maya will seek out her sister Nicole (Reign Edwards) as she comes to terms with the truth.

"So much for trying to accept me," she says to Nicole in a preview clip for the Monday, August 10 episode.

Julius Causes Problems For Rick and Maya's Future

Now, Nicole will worry that the change of events will spur her sister to change her mind about her future with Rick-and will ask her if letting her father's awful opinions hurt her is worth sacrificing her the love of a man who has seen past everything and chosen to accept her and love her regardless of her past.

"Are you calling off the wedding?" Nicole asks in the clip.

Meanwhile, Julius will continue to make hurtful remarks-and will even go so far as to say that the only thing that will make him happy is knowing the whole wedding is over.

"I just want to get through the ceremony. That's what will bring me joy," he says to Vivienne in the clip.

The Bold and the Beautiful airs Monday-Friday at 1:30 p.m. on CBS.
