They're being pegged by outsiders as the two most likely culprits for Silas' murder on General Hospital, and in an effort to potentially save themselves from heading to jail for a crime they may or may not have committed, Ava (Maura West) and Morgan (Bryan Craig) will be forced to defend themselves.

The Truth About Ava Is Revealed

Morgan is suspected of having committed the murder by his own parents, Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Carly (Laura Wright), who noticed his odd behaviors since the news of Silas' death broke-and also know that he and 'Denise' (Ava's alternate identity) were having an affair behind Kiki' (Hayley Erin) back-one which Silas knew about and had threatened to expose.

Now, Carly and Sonny will try to get their son to confess to the crime so they can come up with a plan to protect him.

Several Suspects Emerge In Silas' Murder

"If you killed Dr. Clay, you need to tell us right now," Carly says to Morgan in a preview clip for the Monday, August 10 episode.

Ava meanwhile will defend herself against Franco (Roger Howarth), who was arrested for the crime and has been trying to prove his innocence ever since. Since his arrest he has slowly begun to put the pieces together about how Ava may have been the one responsible-and he will tell her he knows everything and intends to expose her for the fraud she is.

"You killed Silas and I know how," he says in the clip.

General Hospital airs Monday-Friday at 3 p.m. on ABC.
