Aly's death is still causing shockwaves throughout the Forrester family, and now, Thomas (Pierson Fode) will find himself caught in the middle of the unexpected drama the situation has caused between Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Ivy (Ashleigh Brewer) on The Bold and the Beautiful.

Thorne Continues To Demand Answers About Aly's Death

Steffy confided in her brother about what really happened the night Aly died, and Thomas immediately stood up for her and told her to stop blaming herself because while she may have played a role in their cousin's death, she acted out of self-defense and shouldn't blame herself for the outcome.

"We are the only ones who actually know what happened and we aren't going to say anything to anyone," Thomas says to Steffy in a preview clip for the Wednesday, Aug. 12 episode.

Steffy Comes Under Fire For Her Role In Aly's Death

However, Steffy will inform him of the other twist in the story -- that Ivy appears to have more knowledge about what happened than she has shared, and seems intent on pinning Aly's death on Steffy -- calling it murder.

"Ivy implied that I am responsible for Aly's death," she says.

However, the fact that Ivy may be blaming his sister and trying to call her a murderer won't sit well with Thomas, and he will vow to make sure Ivy can't cause any problems for Steffy going forward.

"I will do whatever it takes to protect you," he says in the clip.

The Bold and the Beautiful airs Monday-Friday at 1:30 p.m. on CBS.
