At least one member of the cast for AMC's upcoming Fear the Walking Dead is definitely already prepared for the attention he may receive if the show picks up as rabid a fan base as its predecessor.

The Crew Dishes On 'Kickstarting' The Apocalypse

Frank Dillane, who portrays Nick on the show, spoke to Entertainment Weekly about the show, and admitted that his previous experience portraying the pre-Voldemort Tom Riddle in the Harry Potter film franchise has helped him prep for the possible onslaught of fandom that could come with the show.

"Yeah. You know, it's interesting. I think it might have," he said about how the role prepared him. "I think it has because I was exposed to that kind of hysteria quite early on, so I kind of expect it. It's not going to be a surprise at least. I don't really like it, but I kind of expect it at least."

He later went on to explain what he meant by not liking the attention, explaining that it somewhat took away from the craft of the show and what the actors did best in his opinion.

"Well, there's that. Also, you know, I'm sure there will come a time when I won't be able to, you know, walk around so easy sometimes, or it's just things that I don't necessarily want," he said. "I don't really necessarily want to be famous. It takes away from the craft a little bit, but I think it's part of the job these days, it seems to be. But more just on a personal level, I'm quite easily influenced, so I don't want to start to believe in all that s--- because you might fear sort of a wacko jacko coming. You know what I mean? I'm like I might completely lose my s--- and end up in f---ing Neverland or something. You never know, like you'll find me with four dead hookers or something like that in Season 3, you know?"

Fear the Walking Dead premieres Sunday, Aug, 23 at 0 p.m. on AMC.
