'Pretty Little Liars' Season 6: CeCe's Story Is Far From Over, Marlene King Teases Post-A World [VIDEO]
CeCe's story is far from over on Pretty Little Liars.
Charlotte has revealed her 'A' identity to the world, but what does her future hold? There are still many questions regarding Ali's sister, and those will be answered as the Liars make their highly anticipated five-year time jump.
"We will see Charlotte five years later," showrunner Marlene King confirmed to TV Line. "Alison stays behind to take care of her, and we'll see how far she's come when we make that time jump."
Alison won't be the only one supporting her troubled sis. Jason will also lend a helping hand to the sibling he had grown to believe was just his imaginary friend. As the pair trys to mollify the effects of a "lifetime of neglect," viewers will find out how Charlotte managed to fund three and a half seasons worth of torture.
"We know from hints that were dropped that Mrs. D was sending money to the Carissimi Group," King explained, according to TV Line. "Charlotte is the real Wolf of Wall Street; she took that money and built an empire out of it, which is another thing we'll explore after the time jump."
Charlotte, however, will no longer be the series' big bad. That honor will belong to someone else entirely...
