Brandi Glanville Tumor: 'Housewives' Star Undergoes Surgery This Week
Brandi Glanville undergoes surgery this week to remove a benign tumor from her breast, a representative for the reality star confirmed.
The 40-year-old "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star said she is ready for the procedure and "relieved it's going to be over with."
"I'm anxious about the recovery but have great friends who will be playing nurse," Brandi told In Touch. "I'm ready to get it over with and feel better."
Glanville was not feeling well for months and doctors recently told her that the cause of her sickness was due to a growing tumor in her breast, which test results later showed was non-cancerous, according to the report.
Glanville added that her two sons - Mason, 9, and his brother Jake, 5, - will stay by her side during her recovery.
Her ex-husband, Eddie Cibriani, is now married to singer LeAnn Rimes. On Dec. 5, Glanville told Us Weekly that Mason ate some of Rimes' laxative pills thinking it was candy and became "extremely ill." She then said she does not find Rimes "stable" enough to be around her children without supervision.
"It was a big f--king deal for me, and I lost my mind," she said. "I, unfortunately, don't find her to be stable and I don't want her around my kids when Eddie's not there -- or at least the nanny, his parents, someone."
A representative for Rimes called the story "more inaccuracies and half-truths," according to the report.
Glanville also publicly denounced the country singer as a dangerous influence on her children, claiming Rimes suffers from a "severe eating disorder." Eddie, 39, defended his wife by sending an email, that he later made public, to Glanville accusing her of being consumed by "wine and narcissism."
'I know your life exists solely for the purpose of living and creating drama," he wrote. "[Rimes] is amazing with them, as the kids will 100 percent attest to."
