The Baltimore Ravens (9-3) will face off against the Washington Redskins (6-6) at FedEx Field in what should be an exciting NFL matchup. The Ravens are coming off a disappointing loss at the hands of the Pittsburgh Steelers. Nonetheless, the team appears poised for a fifth straight postseason berth.

After failing to shut down a journeyman QB last week, Baltimore will face an even tougher challenge in putting a stop to rookie phenom Robert Griffith III. Despite sitting at .500, the Redskins still remain in the hunt for a playoff spot, which is something they haven't been able to accomplish in the past five seasons.

Baltimore missed clinching their spot last week in the 23-20 loss to the Steelers. The defeat brought the Ravens' fifteen game winning streak at home to a halt since their loss to the same squad on Dec. 5, 2010.

Despite their loss, the Ravens still hold a two-game lead in their division. With a victory against the Redskins, Baltimore can clinch its division and assure an advancement into the postseason.

"We still are on course. We have an opportunity to accomplish our first and foremost objective - I wouldn't say the most important objective, but the first objective on the agenda - which is to win the division. That's something that we need to do," coach John Harbaugh told ESPN.

"And the idea of the high seed in the playoffs is still in front of us, too. So we're going to be working hard to get those things done," he continued.

The Ravens will have to complete their goals under a difficult schedule, which has the team finishing out its season against the likes of Washington, Denver, the Giants and Cincinnati, who all sport .500 or better records.
