Agents of SHIELD will have a new dream team in season 3.
Daisy (Chloe Bennet) and Mack (Henry Simmons) will pair up as the Secret Warriors storyline gets underway, and it appears the Inhuman and the mechanic will make quite the dynamic duo.
"We're a lot more comfortable around each other this year," Bennet teased, according to Zap2It. "It's like Mulder and Scully, it's really cool."
The SkyWard ship is currently rotting at the bottom of the ocean, and fans have started to champion a burgeoning Lincoln (Luke Mitchell)/Daisy relationship. Those viewers better hope Mack and Daisy don't emulate Scully and Mulder too much.
"I think it's really interesting teaming Mack and Daisy because, especially from my character's point of view, Mack's the character who knocked Lincoln out at the end of the [season], and obviously Daisy and Lincoln have a bit of chemistry going on, so it's kind of interesting them heading up this team and potentially trying to recruit my character," Mitchell teased.
Putting the love lives of SHIELD's top agents aside for just a moment, we're most interested to see Mack interacting with more Inhumans and more alien tech. Always skeptical and distrustful of what extraterrestrial tech can do to humans, Mack will have to dive head first into the fray. Hopefully he can keep SHIELD from having another catastrophe.
