In what surely will be a highly competitive battle, Inter Milan will take on Napoli. Inter Milan currently finds themselves in third place, which is two points behind Napoli, who has 33 points. Hence, there will be a lot at stake when Milan hosts the Napolese side at the Giuseppe Meazza.

First place Juventus is set to visit Palermo, which should result in them raising their point total to 38. If the respective outcome unfolds as expected, it would undoubtedly bring an immense amount of added pressure to both Inter Milan and Napoli, who must stay on pace in the chase.

On a positive note for the squad, Stramaccioni did rest many of his best players during the team's midweek fixture against Neftchi so that they'd be better prepared for today's crucial game.

However, Walter Samuel won't be available in the matchup due to a suspension he's serving because of an accumulation of yellow cards. This will leave Stramaccioni with a difficult decision to make; does he take a chance on the inconsistent Matias Silvestre or does he move Esteban Cambiasso into defence from his usual defensive midfield position?

Silvestre, who has come up short of expectations for Inter Milan this season, will have the difficult task of facing Edison Cavani and Marek Hamsik. The two Napolese offensive forces will most certainly be a constant threat in the game.

If Cambiasso does get the nod on defence, Stramaccioni will most likely go with a five man midfield. With Alvaro Pereira and Javier Zanetti aboard, which would allow the team to play more of a defensive threat than the typical Inter Milan wing-back approach.
