The red-hot Los Angeles Clippers (13-6) will take on the Toronto Raptors (4-16) in Sunday afternoon NBA action. While some of the Clippers' elite players haven't performed up to par as of late, their bench has done an excellent job in picking them up.

The surging Clippers will look for its sixth consecutive win against the struggling Raptors, who they've beaten in twelve straight games against them.

Starting five aside, Los Angeles has shown an immense amount of depth off its bench during its five-game winning streak. While the starters are putting up 62.0 ppg, their backups aren't too far behind, averaging 59.6 points.

During that span, the Clippers have compiled at least 100 points in each of their games. Overall, the Los Angeles' backups are scoring an average of 40.7 points, enough to be one of the NBA's best.

"We owed them a lot. We want to put it away early, but with the way our team is put together, our second team is just as capable of coming and putting that lead on teams," superstar Blake Griffith told ESPN.

Interestingly enough, the Clippers' bench isn't even at the top of their game yet. One bright spot has been Lamar Odom, who continues his resurgence amid losing 12 pounds. He scored eight points along with eight boards in 20 minutes of play in Friday's game.

Due to an inflamed tendon in his left foot, Chauncey Billups has been forced to miss two straight games. Billups has already been out the first fourteen games of the season due to a torn left achilles he suffered on Feb. 6. It still remains uncertain on when he will make a return.

"It's frustrating of course, working that hard to come back and have to kind of sit back and wait. I know what it is. I respect the process and I'm not down at all," Billups stated to the Clippers' official website.
