NCIS: Los Angeles' Eric Beale is about to get a little more dangerous.
The tech operator is a wizard with computers, and season 7 will give the Ops denizen a chance to expand his skills in the field. In other words, Eric (Barrett Foa) is getting a gun.
"Hetty, Linda Hunt's character, has approved my character to start training with a weapon. What? That's a terrible idea," Foa joked to CBS. "Hijinks will ensue."

Luckily for anyone within firing range, Eric will get lessons from the best of the best.
"You know who's going to teach me? LL Cool J," Foa explained. "I'm excited. We're going to get some one-on-one training with Sam Hanna and Eric Beale."
Eric doesn't get out of the office much, but when he does, he tends to find himself in dangerous waters. From dodging bullets on rooftops to controlling drones, Mr. Beale will now be able to defend himself rather than just depend on Callen (Chris O'Donnell), Sam, Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen), and Kensi (Daniela Ruah) to keep him safe.
Will the lovable Eric really be able to pull the trigger when another person's life is on the line? Even Nell (Renee Smith), a character with her heart set on being in the field, had issues will putting a criminal in the ground.
