NCIS: Los Angeles is cooking up a surprise for its 150th episode.

The CBS drama marked its 100th episode by delving into Callen's (Chris O'Donnell) past like never before, and it sounds like the Los Angeles crew is preparing to give viewers another treat this fall.

"THANK YOU #NCISLA Fans for taking us to 150 Episodes! Prep starts NOW," writer Kyle Harimoto ("Chernoff, K," "Humbug") tweeted on Saturday, showing off a snap of the episodes title page.

Dubbed "Command & Control," the episode will begin filming under the direction of Terrence O'Hara ("Blaze of Glory," "Fish Out Of Water") on Aug. 24. Set to shoot as episode 704, the milestone episode will hit screens as the sixth installment of season 6.

In the meantime, viewers will get to see Callen strike out on a lone wolf mission in the premiere. The team leader will strike out on his own during "Active Measures," leaving Sam (LL Cool J), Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen), and Kensi (Daniela Ruah) in the dark. Hetty (Linda Hunt) will pull the plug on his shenanigans, however, and the Office of Special Projects will have to track him down before he gets in over his head.
