'Big Brother 17' Spoilers: How Long Will The Houseguests Keep Vanessa In The Game?
Game talk has died down in the Big Brother 17 house but one player is still on everybody's mind going forward.
Becky Becomes 'Big Brother' Eviction Target As Vanessa Gets Lost In Paranoia
Head of Household: Liz Nolan
Nominees: Becky Burgess and John McGuire
Other houseguests: Austin Matelson, James Huling, Julia Nolan, Meg Maley, Steve Moses and Vanessa Rousso
Everyone Is Catching On To Vanessa On 'Big Brother'
Liz, the Power of Veto winner and reigning HOH, chose not to use the Veto on either Becky or John during Monday's ceremony. Therefore, either Becky or John will be evicted on Thursday, with Becky being the official target.
Liz and company have not informed Becky that she will be the one evicted on Thursday, so she has not campaigned that much. John has been mending some fences with the group, but he still plans on targeting Vanessa next week if he were to win HOH.
Liz and Julia also spoke about when they should get rid of Vanessa, with Liz thinking she should go next and Julia thinking they should wait until after the "returning juror" twist is complete.
John and Steve had a long discussion on Monday in which John said he would definitely target Vanessa while Steve tried to gently persuade him to not do so. John eventually said he would nominate James and Meg with Vanessa as the backdoor target.
Regardless, the houseguests will really have to think about who they target next week, with the returning juror twist in play. (While host Julie Chen has not explicitly said that the twist will be in effect, she has strongly hinted at it enough where all of the houseguests know it's going to happen.)
As with the past two seasons, the first four jury members will likely fight it out for a chance to get back in the game. This means that Shelli, Jackie, Becky (probably) and one other person will be battling.
Big Brother 17 returns for a new episode Wednesday at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CBS.
