The Shadowhunters set is a rough place.

The cast has flooded fans with photos and videos of their intense stunt training, but as cool as their fight scenes may look, the job doesn't come without the risk of a slight injury.

Jon Cor, the man behind Hodge Starkweather, learned that the hard way on Wednesday. The actor posted a photo of himself nursing an icepack following a little mishap during filming.

Cor, however won't let a little bump to the head ruin his fun.

"First Shadow boo-boo incurred working as my own stuntman! Dream come true, that. Honest," Cor wrote, tagging the post with #HodgeStarkwhoopsies.

A photo from late last week shows Cor working on a complicated fight scene, pulling out flips, kicks, and jumps with ease (see photo below). Fans can rest assured that ABC Family's take on The Mortal Instruments will be nothing if not pulse pounding.

Adapted from Cassandra Clare's YA series, Shadowhunters will follow the adventures of Clary Fray (Katherine MacNamara) as she discovers her true heritage as a half-angel/half-human demon hunter. Hodge Starkweather will be one of Clary's tutors at the Shadowhunter's New York Institute.

Catch Shadowhunters when it enters the ABC Family lineup this spring.
