Fans hoping that Jake Doe (Billy Miller) will soon have his identity revealed as Jason Morgan on General Hospital may have to wait just a bit longer for answers.

In a new interview, Nathan Varni, an exec for the show, revealed that it will come along soon, but there's still going to be a bit of a wait for the big reveal-meaning it likely won't happen until November Sweeps.

"I know we've angered a lot of people over the past year because we've had a couple of very slow moving stories, one being with Luke and the next one with Jason," he said. "But if you can stick a little longer, all that reveal will be coming soon. We are addressing it, and the wait is getting close to being over. I'm really excited because I love Billy [Miller] as an actor and I think he is going to knock it out of the park when that reveal is finally made."

He also revealed news sure to please fans who are already missing Luke Spencer's appearance on the canvas-that Anthony Geary could eventually return to the role.

"I don't think it would happen anytime soon, but that character is very important to the history of General Hospital," he said. "The door would remain open for Tony to come back. Sometime down the road, in the next year or two, it would be feasible for him to come back."

However, those hoping Kristen Alderson may make a triumphant return as Kiki Jerome will likely be disappointed, as there are no plans for her to reclaim her role at the moment.

"I have a lot of faith in the role of Kiki moving forward," he said. "I think Hayley [Erin] is doing a fantastic, admirable job as Kiki. I hope the character becomes more layered, and perhaps gets a job, and becomes more involved."

General Hospital airs Monday-Friday at 3 p.m. on ABC.
