'Bones' Season 11 News: David Boreanaz Returns To Set After 'Personal Health Issue'
David Boreanaz is finally set to return to Fox's Bones this week.
What Will Brennan & Booth Do For Work Now On 'Bones'?
Boreanaz, who plays Booth on the Fox procedural, had a freak health incident this summer that prevented him from returning to production as scheduled. The actor had a health scare involving an antibiotic. But now he is all clear and ready to start work on season 11, which premieres this fall.
"Nothing matters to me more than Bones, so I was thrilled when the producers came up with a way for me to take a few extra weeks to recover from a personal health issue without delaying production," Boreanaz told TVLine. "I'm happy to say that I'm now feeling great and will be back to work tomorrow, and that our 11th season premiere will broadcast on schedule - with me in it."
Angela & Hodgins Are Going 'On A Ride' On 'Bones' Next Season
To combat Boreanaz not being on set, Bones writers created a new storyline in which Booth goes missing.
Actress Kim Raver (Grey's Anatomy, 24) is set to guest star in the first two episodes of season 11 as FBI Special Agent Grace Miller. Her character is investigating the disappearance of Booth. There are no details announced about why Booth disappears and under what circumstance.
It will also be interesting to see how Booth and Brennan (Emily Deschanel) go back to solving cases again, considering they both quit their jobs in the season 10 finale.
Bones season 11 premieres Thursday, Oct. 1 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Fox.
