'Agents Of SHIELD' Season 3: What Is The ATCU? New Agency Enters The Inhuman Fray [VIDEO]
Agents of SHIELD is ready to introduce the ACTU.
'Agents Of SHIELD' Season 3 Spoilers: Coulson's Arm Is Less Than Ideal, Clark Gregg Teases Problems
It's alphabet soup time for Marvel. SHIELD and the other SHIELD have combined once more, but Coulson's (Clark Gregg) problems are far from over. With the terrigen-laced fish oil pills hitting shelves around the world, SHIELD will spend season 3 battling the Advanced Threat Containment Unit for jurisdiction over the sudden influx of powered people.
"New faces, both friend and foe, will join the series, including the no-nonsense, highly-skilled and somewhat mysterious leader (Constance Zimmer) of the ATCU (Advanced Threat Containment Unit), [and] her intimidating partner, Banks (Andrew Howard)," ABC's season 3 synopsis teased.
As ATCU shows its teeth, SHIELD will counter with Secret Warriors. Mack (Henry Simmons) and Daisy (Chloe Bennet) will partner up to help to shore up SHIELD in a controversial new way, working "to slowly assemble a team that is stronger than ever before, combining the highly skilled Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. with powered individuals in the hopes of protecting the innocent in a world where the balance of power is ever-shifting."
