'Dancing With the Stars' 2015 Cast: Paula Deen & Chaka Khan Slated To Perform In The Ballroom This Fall
Dancing With the Stars is casting two older female celebrities to join the cast of the upcoming 21st season.

Paula Deen is set to compete on Dancing With the Stars this fall. The 68-year-old celebrity chef, who received national media attention for alleged racially-charged comments in her past, was confirmed as a competitor by E! News.
Chaka Khan, funk music icon, is also slated to compete on the dance competition. Khan, 62, is famous for such songs as "I'm Every Woman" and "Ain't Nobody".

Deen and Khan join the following previously cast celebrities set to compete this fall: Backstreet Boys singer Nick Carter, American Pharoah jockey Victor Espinoza and Bindi Irwin, daughter of "The Crocodile Hunter" Steve Irwin.
More celebs will be announced in the days to come.
Nine pros have already been revealed, though their celebrity partners are not yet known. Mark Ballas, Sharna Burgess, Witney Carson, Artem Chigvintsev, Val Chmerkovskiy, Allison Holker, Derek Hough, Peta Murgatroyd and Karina Smirnoff will all return next season. Usually a season of Dancing With the Stars has 12 or 13 couples, so more pros will likely be announced soon.
The partnerships are expected to be announced on Wednesday, Sept. 2 on ABC's Good Morning America.
Dancing With the Stars season 21 premieres Monday, Sept. 14 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
