Lydia managed to peg down Parrish's (Ryan Kelley) supernatural identity before dropping into a catatonic state, and the dubious title of "hellhound" harbingers more danger for Beacon Hills.
"You don't know whether he's a good guy or a bad guy but that he serves a function, that he is definitely there for a reason, that he was drawn to Beacon Hills for a purpose, and the purpose of a Hellhound is they're a guardian of a supernatural place and that's what he is," series creator Jeff Davis teased, according to Entertainment Weekly. "And we're going to find out just what that role entails in season 5B and how dangerous it's going to become for the rest of the characters."

Other than moving homicide victims, Parrish has yet to do anything remotely harmful. The fact that he can't seem to control his actions, however, could make him a major liability for Scott's (Tyler Posey) floundering pack.
Even more ominous is the fact that Parrish's hellhound is prominently featured in the Dread Doctor's mysterious fresco.
