Gaga quoted Murphy's tweet and provided a message of her own:

The Countess, a.k.a. Elizabeth, is a wealthy socialite who owns the Cortez Hotel. She fancies herself a lover of art, fashion and people while also consuming blood in order to maintain her figure.

Elizabeth has also kidnapped and adopted several children, with are described as "bloodsucking" in a new Entertainment Weekly report.

"They are the most important thing to her," Gaga said. "More than anything, I think she wants to identify in a very human way."

Gaga has been having the time of her life on the set of American Horror Story so far. The pop superstar truly feels like she belongs on the set of the horror anthology series.

"I've felt it with only a few people in my career when you do something and you say, 'I belong here,'" Gaga said. "And I feel that way with the cast - I just feel like we somehow belong together whether I'm on the show or not."

American Horror Story: Hotel premieres Wednesday, Oct. 7 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on FX.
