The Los Angeles Lakers (10-14) will continue its seemingly ongoing quest to reach .500 when they take on the Philadelphia 76ers (12-11) in a Sunday night NBA matchup.

The Lakers will look to win two straight games for the first time in almost four weeks while the 76ers aim to snap its losing streak before it hits three straight.

Kobe Bryant, who leads the NBA with 29.3 points per game, put up 30 points as Los Angeles won for the first time in five games by defeating the Washington Wizards by a 102-96 margin on Friday.

Bryant hasn't received much support out of the point guard position while Steve Nash (broken leg) and Steve Blake (pulled abdominal) remain out with injuries. Fortunately for Los Angeles, Nash is expected to return to practice next week. However, Blake is likely to be out until late in January.

Chris Duhon has filled in but has averaged a mere 6.6 points along with 6.0 assists. The Lakers have gone 2-5 in his starts.

Los Angeles hasn't won two straight since it's season-best three game winning streak from Nov. 16-20. To top it off, they've also been defeated in five out of seven matchups without the likes of power forward Pau Gasol (knee tendinitis), who will more than likely miss his eighth straight game.

"Every good offense is a rhythm, and our rhythm is offbeat right now. It's like we've got two left shoes, trying to dance," coach Mike D' Antoni told ESPN.

Philadelphia will be without Jrue Holiday (sprained right foot) as well as former Laker Andrew Bynum, who remains out of action (bruised right knee).
