Goodbye Rodger Dooley, hello Chief Daniel Sousa.

'Agents Of SHIELD' Season 3: Is The ATCU Really Bad? Get The Scoop On The New Agency

Agent Carter began filming on Monday, and the ABC series has already tied up one loose end from its freshman finale. A brand new photo from set has settled the Dooley (Shea Whigham) succession question once and for all.

Poor Chief Dooley met an unfortunate end thanks to the sinister Dr. Ivchenko (Ralph Brown), but amidst the chaos of the season 1 finale the SSR agent's position remained vacant. Now, however, we can say with 100 percent certainty that the affable Agent Sousa (Enver Gjokaj) will take his boss' place.

Although Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell) will leave New York City in the dust this winter, it is unknown how many SSR characters will also make the jump to 1940s Hollywood. Considering the series is currently shooting the season 2 premiere, it is safe to say that scenes in Sousa's New York office will be sporadic at best.
