Love is in the air on Oahu, or so McGarrett thinks. In the wake of Kono's wedding, the former Navy SEAL may be doing a little ring shopping of his own.
"I'm going to ask Catherine to marry me," Steve announced in the first season 3 promo (see video here).

Slow down there, Stevie-boy. Catherine only just resurfaced after a year away - is marriage really one of the first topics you should be discussing? Whatever McGarrett decides, viewers should be prepared to see a "big change" by time episode 3 rolls around.
In the light of Hawaii Five-0's latest announcement, however, McRollins future is looking bleak. In a move that does not bode well for McGarrett's potential proposal, the series recently cast Falling Skies' Sarah Carter as the Five-0 leader's recurring love interest.
"Carter will play Lynn, a nature enthusiast and avid explorer McGarrett (Alex O'Loughlin) takes to a remote island on an adventurous first date, where they stumble upon a criminal hideout that puts both of their lives in danger," Deadline reported on Tuesday.
