It was only just a few days ago that Candice Accola, portrayer of Caroline Forbes on The Vampire Diaries, announced her first pregnancy with husband Joe King, but now she's talking spoilers for the show's upcoming season.

Will Candice Accola's Pregnancy Interfere With Filming 'Vampire Diaries' Season 7?

It seems that Accola's pregnancy will not interfere with the filming of the current season of TVD so viewers of the series don't have to fret.

TVLine spoke with the mom-to-be about the upcoming season and how her pregnancy will be handled throughout filming.

Who Views Stefan & Damon As 'The Stepsiblings They Don't Want To Know' In New 'Vampire Diaries' Season?

"Production has known about our exciting news and there's been a lot of support," Accola gushed, adding, "They already knew where this season was going, and it's kind of the same as every other year: We start the beginning of the season asking the writers a lot of questions about what's going to happen. Then halfway through the season, it's completely different. ... Julie [Plec] and Caroline [Dries] are the best people to ask about [whether or not her pregnancy will be written into the show.] To be honest, I'm along for the ride just like the viewers are."

The actress pointed out that her character is never quite in every episode anyway so that definitely helps in hiding her growing baby bump. Although she did let slip that Caroline has actually "been a really big part of the season" so far.

According to Accola, Caroline will be a total "bad---" during season 7.

"We're going to see Caroline get her bite back," she shared.

Plus, the series will get back to the diary usage. When the series began Elena (Nina Dobrev) kept a diary and Stefan (Paul Wesley) had diaries. The diaries were pretty much abandoned for the most part as the series continued, but since Elena requested her friends keep diaries while she sleeps, they will return.

"It is The Vampire Diaries, so the diaries will live on, The flash-forwards and the diary moments are a really beautiful addition to the season," Accola explained.

The series returns to The CW in the fall for season 7 on Oct. 8 at 8 p.m. ET.
