There has been endless speculation that she was unhappy with being a part of her large family after she and Kody divorced on last season of Sister Wives, and the announcement earlier this year that Robyn was pregnant only added fuel to the fire, but now, Meri Brown is speaking out against critics of her family and the endless rumors she doesn't get along with Robyn.

Are Janelle, Christine & Meri Faking Their Happiness?

In a series of posts featuring photos of a lengthy explanation on Twitter, Meri defended Robyn and finally talked about the very issues many have speculated about over the past year, addressing the rash of negative comments she has seen online and on social media posts which called Robyn names, and alleged that the family as a whole was happier before she came into it.

"...Regarding all the comments about how the show was so much better before Robyn came along. I would like to remind you that there was never an episode without her. Our very first episode introduced her, the same is it introduced all of us," she said in the post. "Sure, that first season did show struggles that Janelle, Christine and I had as we welcomed Robyn and her 3 kids into the family and became a blended plural family. Any blended family struggles to figure out their new normal. Any plural family struggles when a new wife enters the family, as the existing wife or wives deal with possible jealousy and insecurities, and the wife coming in deals with figuring out how to fit into an already established family. What people don't realize is that I dealt with these same feelings and adjustments when Janelle entered the family, and Janelle and I both felt these again when Christine entered the family. By the time Robyn joined, we not only had 16 years of dealing with our issues, working them out and figuring out how to all work together, but we also now had cameras in our lives documenting the whole adjustment period."

Meri & Robyn Struggle With The New Dynamic?

She also addressed the negative comments about Robyn being pregnant and blasted those who explained their hatred by saying it wasn't fair that Kody wouldn't have another baby with her, but chose to have one with Robyn instead.

"...Whether or not I have another baby had absolutely no bearing on her decision, right, or anything else, to have this child. The extreme hate and negativity that I have been concerning her and this baby is frankly, quite disgusting. It disappoints and saddens me that there is so much hate swirling around what we see as an ultimate blessing and gift of happiness..." she wrote. "...She offered to carry a baby for me, as my body obviously struggles in this area...As you all saw on the episode when Kody and I made that final decision, WE decided not to."

She then talked about the divorce which has also caused so much controversy amongst fans as well:

"I am so tired of hearing comment after comment about Kody and Robyn putting me up to this or forcing me into it, or Robyn 'taking' my position in the family. No position was given up, no position was taken. The most important thing to me is those 3 kids of Robyn's. Their happiness, their security, their peace, is what matters to me. I will do anything in my power to give them that, and that is exactly what I did." Following the post, Meri then told her followers to expect to hear from her more as she refused to keep sitting by and letting people disparage her family.

"Fair warning, I may just start using my voice a little more about things that matter to me," she wrote. Robyn then re-tweeted the messages, saying that she was awed by the length Meri went to to defend her.

"I love you @MeriBrown1! I am speechless," she wrote.
