The Los Angeles Lakers (11-14) will look to continue its winning ways when they take on the Charlotte Bobcats (7-16) at the Staples Center on Tuesday night. While Mike D' Antoni's squad still has its best basketball ahead of them, they're clearly finding more effective ways to win games, unlike the Bobcats.

The Lakers are looking to tie a season-high with their third consecutive victory while sending Charlotte off with its twelfth straight defeat.

Although injuries continue to keep stars Pau Gasol and Steve Nash on the shelf, the rest of the club has been slowly adjusting to D' Antoni's fast-paced offensive style.

Los Angeles is coming off two straight wins, giving them a 2-2 mark on its recent road trip. The team broke a two-game losing streak when it beat the Washington Wizards by a score of 102-96 on Friday and defeated the Philadelphia 76ers 111-98 on Sunday.

"It's guys playing with confidence and guys trusting each other. We played well, communicated well, kept attacking and good things happened," Kobe Bryant, who scored 34 points on Sunday, told ESPN.

"I know the questions have been coming because we hadn't been winning, but our time will come," Bryant added.

To top it off, Metta World Peace racked up 19 points and a career-best 16 boards while Dwight Howard had 17 and 11.

Although Los Angeles' last two victories have come against two of the NBA's weakest teams, the Lakers showed improvement on defense by forcing 19 turnovers versus Washington and 18 against Philadelphia.

"Guys are playing well," stated point guard Chris Duhon, who had a season high 14 points on Sunday.
