'Hawaii Five-0' Season 6: McGarrett & Danny Lands On A Couples Retreat, Can McDanno Survive? [VIDEO]
Forget couples counseling, Hawaii Five-0's Steve McGarrett and Danny Williams will find themselves on a couples retreat during season 6.
The bickering partners landed themselves in therapy last year, but the pair will unknowingly up the ante when they accidently find themselves on a weekend-long couples outing, according to TV Line.
"That's a really fun story," showrunner Peter Lenkov teased.
Oh, McDanno, what have you stumbled into? You two can barely make it through a car ride with some verbal sparing, what will happen when you have to battle an entire weekend of crime fighting infused with couples' exercises?
It remains to be seen if this little disaster takes place before or after the McRollins shake up in episode 3. Recent promos indicate Steve (Alex O'Loughlin) is planning to pop the question, but after a year away, Catherine (Michelle Borth) may not be on the same page. For his part, Danny (Scott Caan) doesn't want his buddy to get his heart broken yet again.
"I can't get into specifics, but I have it on good authority that there are some very sweet and 'bromantic' moments on tap for Season 6, especially in the first three episodes," TV Line's Matt Mitcovich reported over the summer. "Danny is very much going to have McGarrett's back, I hear, maybe even being a bit protective of his partner in crimesolving."
