Buckle up, DC fans, Legends of Tomorrow has officially stepped in front of the camera. From what the cast has to say, it sounds like Rip Hunter and his merry band will be in for a rough ride.

The third addition to DC's Arrow universe, Legends of Tomorrow will enter The CW lineup this winter. In the meantime, however, fans can celebrate the begging of filming with set updates form the cast (see tweets below) and a brand new batch of interviews.

The series will follow the adventures of Rip Hunter (Arthur Darvill) as he hops through the past in an effort to stop Vandal Savage (Casper Crump). A 6,000 year-old Immortal, Savage has caused chaos throughout history in an effort to gain world domination (ah, that old trick). Rip will team up with everyone from Firestorm (Victor Garber), Ray Palmer (Brandon Routh), White Canary (Caity Lotz), Hawkman (Falk Hentschel), Hawkgirl (Ciara Renee), and Jay Jackson (Franz Drameh) to Heat Wave (Dominic Purcell) and Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller)

"It is heroes and villains working to take on this one big super villain, but that doesn't mean it's one big happy family," Miller teased, according to DC. "It's going to be quite to opposite."
