'Days of Our Lives' Spoilers: Will Marlena Or Will Be The Serial Killer's Next Victim? [VIDEO]
Two people have already fallen victim to a vindictive serial killer's twisted reign in Salem, and the next potential victim could be one of the town's most prominent residents on Days of Our Lives.
In a preview clip advertising some of the highlights of the show's ongoing 50th anniversary celebration, another potential victim is revealed-and it's a shocking one. The person who next finds themselves with a silk tie being wrapped around their neck is none other than veteran resident Marlena Evans (Deirdre Evans).
However, according to Celebrity Dirty Laundry, while the killer will target Marlena, likely after she hypnotizes Chad (Billy Flynn) in an attempt to prove his innocence, she won't actually be killed, because Evans has still been spotted on-set filming (the show tapes six months in advance, meaning her character would still be on the canvas for episodes airing this February), and is still in contract. However, the rumors do hint she will be saved by her grandson, Will (Guy Wilson)--who will then become a strangulation victim himself.
The idea that Will could be killed off seems more likely, after rumors began surfacing that Wilson was no longer a part of the show.
However, Wilson himself took to Twitter to clear up confusion about his potentially being off the show, assuring a fan he wasn't going anywhere-meaning he too could still survive an attempt on his life.
