Currently on a hiatus, AMC's "The Walking Dead" continues to garner buzz over what will transpire next when the series returns in February for the second half of season three.

Photos of Rick, Michonne and the Governor in the upcoming episodes have indeed been released.

One of the featured pictures show Rick, Michonne and the Governor together in a forest. The latest footage clearly doesn't stay true to the story's comic book version, which has Rick being one of the first individuals from the prison to meet the Governor after they chase a helicopter. Up until this point on the television version, Rick has yet to meet the corrupt man in charge of Woodbury.

Being that Michonne is the one responsible for gouging the Governor's eyeball out of his socket, many fans will surely wonder why the two appear to co-exist in the photo. The rest of the pictures are character portraits and don't necessarily reveal anything out of the ordinary.

Episode nine, "The Suicide King," will be the first episode to start part two of season three, which will have Rick attempting to save the life of another group member. Also, Woodbury is going to be out of whack after the group's recent attack. The new guests in the prison are said to become an increasing concern to the others as well.

Since the audience was introduced to Tyrese's faction (new guests) during the mid-season finale, the summary appears to reference them. Additionally, Rick and the rest of his group didn't seem to lock down the back prison entrance, which justifies their reported worries.

While details on the future storylines are still relatively unclear, only time will truly tell how the series continues to evolve.

"The Walking Dead" will next air on AMC on Feb. 10 at 9 p.m. EST.
