They're season 27 of The Amazing Race's all-male team that might be the most threatening to teams physically, but Tanner and Josh have a surprising prediction for who they think could sneak a victory out from under everyone else's noses.

Denise & James Plan To 'Stay Positive' In Race For $1 Million

In a pre-race interview with CBS, the best friends from Texas dished on their competitors for their season-with Josh revealing his surprising pick for who would probably be the biggest competition-but also the ones no one else would expect.

"We're not surprised that everyone thinks that we're the main competition," he says in the interview. "I guess if I was trying to decide who our biggest competition was, I think it might realistically be the cheerleaders...I can just see them charming their way through the situations that we can't obviously, because they're prettier than us. But we don't know anyone just from looking at them, so they just stuck out to me for plenty for plenty of reasons."

Team TMZ Plans To Be 'Harsh' & 'Blunt' If Necessary

Whether the two grow close to the cheerleaders or not though, they do have a strategy for being in some alliances-though they admit if they can make it to the final three, they have every intention of doing whatever it takes to ensure they win it all.

"It's 100 percent about winning. We absolutely want to make friends if we can. we don't want to make enemies, we're not going out there saying 'Who cares who hates us,.' We want people to like us," Tanner admits. "If we have an alliance of four or five teams we're gonna help them, we won't stab them in the back, we're not gonna play dirty. But I hope that every team knows that once it comes down to the final three or four teams, I mean it's every man for himself so at that point its cutthroat, and we're gonna do whatever we have to to win."

The Amazing Race season 27 premieres Friday, Sept. 25 at 8 p.m. on CBS.
