Callen (Chris O'Donnell) has been chasing his past his whole life, and the season 6 finale made it look as if answers are closer than ever for the orphaned agent. Now, series creator Shane Brennan has dropped hints regarding the team's upcoming return to Russia.

"There may be a reunion that will happen there," Brennan teased, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Will this reunion happen between Callen and his allegedly deceased father? Or is G destined to meet up with Anna Kolcheck (Bar Paly) once more? Whatever the case, it is safe to assume it will have to do with the agent's "Active Measures" rogue op.

"In the season opener, Callen's secretive, rogue investigation into 'something,' showrunner Shane Brennan cryptically teases, 'creates a lot of tension' between him, Sam and Hetty and will have a 'fairly major' payoff midway through the season, in a double-episode event," TV Line teased.
