'Big Brother 17' Live Feeds: Steve Breaks Down Over Veto Competition Decision, Is He Screwed?
After Tuesday's wild eviction on Big Brother 17, the remaining houseguests competed in their final Veto competition of the summer, and we now know who won.

Steve Proposes New Deal To Liz on 'Big Brother 17'
Steve won HOH on Tuesday's special episode (which was taped Monday) and he chose to nominate John and Vanessa for eviction. It doesn't actually matter, though, because all the power this week goes to the Veto winner, since they have the sole vote to evict.
The live feeds were down throughout the day on Tuesday, when the Power of Veto competition was presumably played. Eventually, it became clear that Vanessa had won the Veto through context clues. This means that Steve and Vanessa are officially in the Final 3, with Vanessa now having to choose between evicting John or Liz.
Vanessa had a discussion with Steve late on Tuesday about who their best option is to get to the Final 2. Vanessa noted that Liz would be easier to beat in the final HOH competitions, but that it would also be easier to win the game against John. However, Vanessa may have reservations about Steve and John taking each other to the end if she were to keep John. Therefore, there is reason to believe that she will probably evict John live on Wednesday.
Vanessa and Steve also reinforced their deal to take each other to the Final 2 but it is unclear if either of them will honor this.
Later, while everyone else was trying to sleep, Steve had a very intense emotional breakdown. He cried in his HOH room, talking to himself, where he admitted he threw the Veto to Vanessa. He said this was a dumb move and he just threw away his shot at winning the game. It seems that he still thinks evicting Vanessa would be a game-winning move, but who knows if he would actually do it. He eventually went downstairs for support where Liz tried her best to comfort him. Vanessa eventually suggested that Steve just go to bed and stop worrying so much. He did as he was told.
As of now, it's looking like Vanessa will evict John making the Final 3 Liz, Steve and Vanessa. But anything can change in the Big Brother house.
Big Brother 17 airs another new episode Wednesday at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CBS. The episode will feature the Nomination ceremony, the Power of Veto competition, the Veto meeting and the live eviction. The final three houseguests will then play in the first part of the final HOH competition.
