Outlander's droughtlander is nearing an end - executive producer Ron Moore has officially hinted at a season 2 premiere date.

The Starz series aired its freshman finale at the end of May, and viewers have been anxiously awaiting a return date ever since. Moore took to Twitter earlier this week for a quick Q&A, which ultimately resulted in a teaser for a spring premiere.
Once Outlander's second season gets underway, fans won't have to worry about weathering a midseason hiatus. Although half of the season's episodes will take place in Paris while the latter half will move back to Scotland, Starz will most likely not use that dividing line to break up the run.

"It's two very distinct halves," Moore told Zap2It. "You could theoretically broadcast it in two pieces because they are almost standalone sections, but right now the intention is probably to show them straight through.
