He was hopeful his father would strike a deal with him to build a rival company to go up against Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Liam (Scott Clifton), but Wyatt (Darin Brooks) will receive a devastating blow when Bill (Don Diamont) refuses to partner up with him on The Bold and the Beautiful.

"I have no interest in being in the fashion business," he says to Wyatt in a preview clip for the Friday, September 18 episode.

Now, Wyatt will once again feel like he is the son who is continually being left behind, as he is left without the company he had hoped to get, and without the status he wanted-something Liam has never had a problem winning from Bill.

Ivy & Wyatt Put New Plans For Liam & Steffy Into Action

"I've just got to accept the fact that I'm always going to be second. Or third," he says to Ivy (Ashleigh Brewer) in the clip.

Noting how hurt and upset he is, Ivy will attempt to cheer Wyatt up-though she will inadvertently remind him that was also second when it came to her, since like Hope and Steffy, she fell for Liam first.

"You may not have gotten the company that you wanted today, but you definitely got the girl," she says in the clip.

However, though he will still feel dejected, Wyatt may still find it in him to come up with one last scheme to finally get ahead and get the glory he feels he is owed.

The Bold and the Beautiful airs Monday-Friday at 1:30 p.m. on CBS.
