The 2013 NFL Pro Bowl selections were officially announced Wednesday and as per usual, many are voicing their disapproval over their favorite stars being snubbed from the rosters.

Three talked about players left off the all-star rosters are the Seattle Seahawks' Richard Sherman, Philadelphia Eagles' Evan Mathis and Dez Bryant of the Dallas Cowboys.

As a whole, many fans feel as though the juggernaut Seahawks defense got snubbed in the voting. One of which is Seattle's' star-worthy defender Sherman, who's arguably considered by many to be the best cornerback at the respective position.

While Sherman hasn't had the greatest reputation in the public eye due to his alleged PED use, he's in the midst of an appeal and anticipates a verdict this week. Nonetheless, the defensive back hasn't missed a game this season and has backed up his natural abilities with a whopping five interceptions and two touchdowns.

While the Eagles haven't fared well as a team this year, Mathis is another player who many believe is deserving of an all-star spot. Showing his stability, the guard was just one of four Eagles to make the start in all 15 games this season.

Although the quantity of games played category doesn't translate into an automatic Pro Bowl appearance, Mathis has put up career-bests in 2012-13, which includes allowing only one sack. However, not one Philadelphia Eagle member made the Pro Bowl this season.

Another notable performer left off the roster is Cowboys' wide receiver Bryant. Since the start of the second half, it is arguable that no other receiver has performed quite as effectively. He's ranked second in the NFL with 15 touchdowns (10 in second half) and is currently playing with a fractured index finger. Bryant is considered one of the primary reasons that the Cowboys still remain in the playoff hunt and instantly makes QB Tony Romo's offense better.
