They're a team that others may not consider a threat on the upcoming season of The Amazing Race, but cousins Alex Manard and Adam Dingeman definitely don't see themselves as underdogs.

The Track Stars Plan To Flirt To Make Necessary Alliances

The two, who both have a form of dwarfism called pseudoachondroplasia and stand at only five feet tall know their stature makes them seem like people who shouldn't be watched-but they know they have other qualities that could help them prove anyone who thinks differently about them wrong.

"I'm the athletic one so any of the physical challenges I'm going to be able to do fairly easily, hopefully," Alex says in a pre-race interview with CBS. "And he's kind of more the brain. I guess you could say we're brawn and brain."

Logan & Chris Worry About Being Their Own 'Worst Enemies'

However, the two also know that a big part of playing the game also involves getting rid of those who could be stiff competition-and they already have their eyes set on #TeamTexas-Tanner and Josh.

"The meatheads, they're definitely competition. They're the kinds of guys that think they're awesome at everything," Alex says.

"They're kinda cocky already, like the guys that used to give us crap in high school," Adam adds. "So we're definitely going to try to go for them first, like maybe we're gonna U-turn them, or just get them out of here."

The Amazing Race season 27 premieres Friday, Sept. 25 at 8 p.m. on CBS.
