'The Voice' Results Tonight 2015 VIDEO: Who Made The Cut In The Season 9 Premiere? Watch Mark Hood & Jordan Smith
The Voice kicked off season 9 with a hard fought battle for the premiere's shining stars.
The series' coaches were turning their chairs with blinding speed on Monday night, each angling to hand pick the best and the brightest from this fall's crop of hopefuls. Competition was fierce as Adam Levine, Gwen Stefani, Pharrell Williams and Blake Shelton all turned for no less than three of the evening's 11 performances.
The teams currently stand as follows:

Team Pharrell landed Chicago's Mark Hood after the 24-year-old talent had his pick of coaches thanks to his rendition of Use Me. The R&B artist also snagged the teenaged Siahna Im after hearing her performance of Fever.
Team Gwen didn't land any of the high stakes performers, but the pop star did wrangle Kota Wade and Braiden Sunshine from Pharrell and Blake Shelton.
Team Adam added both Keith Semple and Jordan Smith to its ranks following their takes on I'll Be There for You and Chandelier, respectfully. Check out Smith's crowd pleaser in the video below.
Team Blake ended the first night of Blind Auditions by recruiting Nadjah Nicole and Berrett Baber. Oddly enough, neither performer used a country hit to snag the series' most accomplished coach.
Sadly, Alyssa Sheridan, Dr. Paul, and Michael Woolery did not make the cut.
