'Big Brother 17' Houseguest Vanessa Has Essentially Confirmed Her Final 2 Plan

With Vanessa winning Part 1 of the HOH competition and Steve winning Part 2, they will face off on Wednesday in Part 3, which will determine the final HOH of the summer. Unfortunately for Liz, she will have to sit on the sidelines as her fate is decided.
Does Liz On 'Big Brother' Have Guaranteed Final 2 Slot?
So after 98 days and dozens of competitions, it will all come down to this.
Vanessa has played a dominate strategic game, almost single-handedly deciding the boot order of the entire season. Her emotional breakdowns and passive aggressive (sometimes just aggressive) manipulation have surprisingly gotten her this far, but if she makes it to the Final 2, will she get the votes to win? Her social game isn't the best, but there's no denying she's played a great game.
Steve has been an underdog who started off meek but grew into a really solid game player more comfortable with making big moves. His social anxiety inhibited him early in the game but he mostly stayed out of the way while larger targets were made. Steve was the one to finally target the Austwins and he has a compelling story if he makes it to the end. But will the jury respect his more passive game?
Liz has been well protected by an alliance and won several competitions throughout the summer. She wasn't a great social player considering she mostly just talked with her own alliance and that's it. However, she does have two automatic votes on the jury (Austin and Julia) so she only needs three more. A particularly bitter jury may end up rewarding Liz if the alternative is not palatable.
It will be interesting to see how it all goes down, especially with Vanessa and Steve looking to evict each other depending on who wins the final HOH.
The Big Brother 17 finale airs Wednesday at 9:30 p.m. ET/PT on CBS, featuring the final HOH competition, the final eviction and the crowning of a winner.
