'Legends Of Tomorrow' Cast: Stephanie Corneliussen To Take Series To The USSR, Which Villain Will She Play?
Legends of Tomorrow's ATOM and Captain Cold will have to vie for the same woman when Stephanie Corneliussen joins the cast.
The Mr. Robot actress will take on the role of Valentine Vostok, a DC staple from Doom Patrol. As Legends' Rip Hunter hopscotches through time, he will stumble across the USSR operative during the Cold War era.
Suspected of working with Hunter's nemesis Vandal Savage, Vostok will allegedly have a hand in the creation of a deadly weapon. If the Immortal succeeds in his plan, the fall of the Berlin Wall may never thaw American/Russian tensions.
"Valentina is described as a gifted and beautiful Soviet physicist who will stop at nothing to defend her precious "Motherland,'" TV Line teased. "Ray/The Atom (Brandon Routh) and Leonard/Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller) must vie for Valentina's affection in an attempt to thaw her cold heart, and find out where her allegiance truly lies -- before she completes her project and potentially turns the tide of the Cold War."
