'Outlander' Season 2: Two Major Returning Characters Confirmed
Set to enter the storyline in season 2, the Dragonfly in Amber character has already received his own series of historical mysteries courtesy of Outlander author Diana Gabaldon. Although Grey has yet to make his television debut, fans are already clamoring for Starz to dive into the young soldier's solo narrative.
Unfortunately, it might be quite some time before Starz has the chance to expand the Outlander universe.

"It's in the back of our minds as a potential thing," executive producer Ron Moore explained to Digital Spy. "But right now our minds are pretty firmly set on just delivering the second season. We'll see what happens down the line on Lord Grey."
A Redcoat, Grey will come across Jamie and Claire when the couple returns to Scotland following their Parisian adventure. Their initial meeting will end violently, but the secretly gay character will crop up through the Highlander's story well into The Fiery Cross.
