'The Young and the Restless actor Daniel Goddard is on the mend since injuring himself last Friday on set of the CBS soap.

Last Friday, Goddard was filming like any other day on set, but during a combat scene he managed to seriously hurt himself.
On Sunday he even tweeted a photo of himself sporting a cast and sling since he managed to break his elbow.

Tuesday night the actor gave his Twitter followers an update on his injury status.
"Tomorrow I have surgery to screw and wire my broken elbow back together," he revealed.
He even dished he has been on set to continue portraying Cane Ashby so perhaps his injury has been written into the scripts. On Thursday he shared his surgery went well.
"I'm bed ridden cause I have to keep my elbow and arm above my heart to control the bleeding," he divulged with a photo of himself in his hospital bed.
The actor is a serious trooper to continue working prior to going into surgery and even sharing the aftermath of his surgery with fans since he definitely looks like he's in pain in the photo above.
