Blindspot's Jane Doe is literally a riddle wrapped in an enigma. That being said, a keen eyed viewer should already be able to solve at least one of the series' biggest mysteries.

After just one episode, series creator Martin Gero promises you can uncover the meaning behind Jane's (Jamie Alexander) tattoos.

You could solve it yourself after having seen the pilot," Gero informed Variety. "No one has yet. I was like - it's some sort of prize for the person that can figure it out. I'd be so impressed. But you can piece these together yourself, and so it's really important for us as a collaboration between the writers, [tattoo specialist Christian] Tinsley, and (David Kwong) that this all makes sense and it all has a flow to it."

Can you suss out the meaning behind the ink? If you can't now, you may be able to by the end of the drama's first season, particularly now The Hollywood Reporter has announced that NBC has ordered nine more scripts from the freshman series. While they may never make it to air - it's still too early to predict Blindspot's future with any certainty - the extra episodes certainly presage good things for series.
