Faye Resnick & Threats: 'Housewives Of Beverly Hills' Star Says She Has Stalker
Faye Resnick, who regularly appears on "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills," called police claiming a stranger has been following her and left her a threatening letter, according to TMZ.
Law enforcement officials said Resnick, 59, told them someone had trespassed onto her Los Angeles property and left a threatening note on her parked car. The gossip website reported that police are investigating the matter but have no suspect as of yet.
Resnick, an interior designer, appears on the Bravo reality series as best friend and confidant of one of the show's main stars Kyle Richards. The once Playboy model is also known for writing a book accusing O.J. Simpson of murdering her then-best friend Nicole Brown Simpson. She also testified against O.J. during his infamous 1995 murder trial.
The reported threats follow backlash Resnick received over her recent appearance on "Housewives." In a December episode, Resnick confronted reality TV star Brandi Glanville, 40, over a dispute involving another housewife, Adrienne Maloof.
Resnick verbally attacked Glanville at a dinner party attended by all the show's stars and hosted by Richards. Resnick claimed Glanville spread lies about Maloof and attempted to defend her by repeatedly telling Glanville she should apologize to Maloof for certain comments she made about her. Richards was then forced to comfort Glanville after Resnick would not back down, and in the end Glanville left the party.
"Kyle brought her pit bull-slash-puppet Faye 'Rancid' in to attack me about events and things she had nothing to do with and wasn't even present for," Glanville wrote in a recent blog post. "It was very obvious she was fighting someone else's fight for the simple need for attention."
Bravo recently has announced that they are considering adding Resnick to the Bravo television show cast as a housewife, according to Examiner.
