'Supernatural' Season 11: How Long Will Sam's Visions Last? Jared Padalecki Explains [VIDEO]
Sam Winchester won't waste anytime trying tracking down the source of his season 11 visions on Supernatural.
The hunter is no stranger to the world of precognition, and Sam's (Jared Padalecki) last experience with the "gift" left a bitter after taste. When he finds himself similarly afflicted this fall, Sam will hit the books in an effort to understand exactly why his brain is no longer his own.
"When these visions start, [Sam's] less concerned with what's happening in the visions and more concerned with why he's getting them and who's sending them to him," Padalecki explained to Entertainment Weekly. "We'll see Sam doing something we've never really seen him do - pray."

It remains unclear who will answer those prayers, if anyone, but Padalecki has informed viewers that the truth will arrive sooner rather than later.
"Sam is having some visions," Padalecki teased at Creation Entertainment's Salute to Supernatural in New Jersey, "and we will find out very quickly where those visions are coming from."
How quick is quickly? Padalecki didn't say, but it's safe to assume answers will start to flow before midseason.
