The CBS series will treat fans to a special cupid episode this spring, but the February installment will be less Serendipity and more Fatal Attraction.
"We're going to do a Valentine's Day episode, where everybody's love life goes to the s-ter on that day!" executive producer Peter Lenkov informed TV Line.
The teaser came following a fan's inquiry into the status of Danny and Amber's (Lili Simmons) relationship. Amber was last seen in season 5's "Nanahu," an episode that exposed her tumultuous past and resulted in the death of her abusive ex. Since then, however, the relationship has faded into the background.
Five-0 fans won't have to wait until February for a little romance, however. Steve McGarrett is set to propose to Catherine Rollins this Friday in "Ua 'O'Oloku Ke Anu I Na Mauna (The Chilling Storm Is on the Mountains)," although the promise of a new love interest for McGarrett makes it seem as if wedding bells are not in McRollins' future (see a preview below).
