Kim Kardashian Pregnancy Defended By Kris Jenner Facebook Hoax
Kim Kardashian's mother Kris Jenner was alleged to have defended her daughter's pregnancy in an inflammatory Facebook rant.
A Facebook user used the name 'Kris Jenner" to fire back against "internet trolls" for calling Kardashian a "slut" in a Facebook hoax.
Critics had written offensive comments about the pregnant reality star after she posted pictures of herself in a nightclub at a New Year's Eve party she hosted in Las Vegas. According to Mail Online, critics wrote that Kardashian, 32, was a 'no fit mother' and 'fat,' adding that she should 'lose some weight' while others described her as being 'busted and old news' and 'f****** up' to her baby.
A subscriber posed as Jenner started a Facebook hoax and fired back at Kardashian's online bullies:
"Kim Kardashian is 32 & she's pregnant, but y'all hoes be 16 with 4 kids and no baby daddy.. & y'all calling her a slut? PLEASE, have a seat."
Over a 100,000 fans "liked" the post and hundreds wrote comments to support the remark.
Jenner, however, came forward to explain that it was not her and that it was a Facebook hoax. She made it clear that while it wasn't her that actually wrote the remark, she did agree with the comment. She cleared up the hoax in two separate posts of her own.
"I just wanna say that I didn't write the status about Kim K pregnant, u hoes be 16.. blah blah!" she wrote. "Ugh!! I'm not like that... and... Never thought I would do such a big impact with it!"
She wrote a follow-up post stating that she did agree with the comment.
"by the way.. I think it's true! LOL," she wrote later. "I'M SO HAPPY FOR KIM AND KANYE, and everybody's free to say whatever they want :)" she added.
It turns out that the Kris Jenner Facebook page that featured the inflammatory remark is actually a fan page.
The bio of the FB page read: "Keep your latest UPDATES about the Kardashian/Jenner family. We love Kris Jenner ♥ LIKE IT please! If you're a Kris Jenner Fan!"
Kanye West announced Kardashian's pregnancy during his concert in Atlantic City on Dec. 30.
The pair announced Thursday that they will follow in the footsteps of her older sister, Kourtney, by displaying her pregnancy and new child in front of the cameras on their "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" reality show on E!
