He, along with mostly everyone else at Forrester was unaware of what actually prompted Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) to fire Ivy (Ashleigh Brewer) on The Bold and the Beautiful, but now, Eric (John McCook) will step into the middle of the drama and demand answers.

Liam Attempts To Make Peace With Ivy & Wyatt

After failing to convince Steffy to hire her back, Ivy went to Eric to beg him for help-and now, he will stage an intervention of sorts for the two cousins, as they try to work through their differences and begin to try working together again without problems. However, in the process, he will want Steffy to finally own up to her reasons for firing Ivy-and he will be shocked when he learns what they really are.

"I fired Ivy because she was blackmailing me," she says in a preview clip for the Wednesday, Oct. 7 episode.

Quinn Begins Meddling In Wyatt's Life Again

Though Eric will also be shocked by what Ivy was blackmailing Steffy with, he will still be floored that Ivy blackmailed Steffy in the first place-and it could jeopardize her chances at getting back the job she wants.

Meanwhile, Liam (Scott Clifton) will confront Wyatt (Darin Brooks) when he hears that Ivy went to Eric for help because he feels his brother and his ex-girlfriend are being delusional if they think Eric would consider taking Ivy back into the company after the scheme she pulled.

"You and I both know that Eric is never going to side with Ivy if he knows what she did," he threatens Wyatt in the clip.

The Bold and the Beautiful airs Monday-Friday at 1:30 p.m. on CBS.
