So far his targets have been conveniently linked in a way that they perfectly point the blame at Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn), but the real Necktie killer, Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) will now strike again on Days of Our Lives-with his most high profile and confusingly unconnected victim yet.

The Necktie Killer's Identity Is Revealed

Ben is actually the one who successfully strangled Serena and Paige and attempted to strangle Marlena (Deidre Hall), but all of the evidence has pointed at Chad (Billy Flynn), whom Ben is trying to frame for the crime in an attempt to keep him away from Abigail (Kate Mansi) for good. However, after Will (Guy Wilson) hung out at the couple's apartment and discovered the red tie that Ben had discarded in the trash, he put the pieces together-and now, Ben will be forced to take action.

He will make sure Will is no longer a problem for him by making him the next victim in his spree of attacks, acting purely on the impulse of knowing he can't let Will live because his secret will then be out. And when Will's body is discovered, it will rock Salem to its core-especially his family members, and eventually, his estranged husband, Sonny (Freddie Smith).

Will Uncovers Key Evidence About The Necktie Killer

Will's death will also throw the police completely off track when it comes to their investigation into the deaths as well, because the prior murders were connected to Chad. Chad was the last person that both Serena and Paige were known to have seen while they were still alive, and had connections to each other because Chad had an unpleasant night out with Serena before her death, and Paige was a witness to the crime. Marlena also had connection to the crime because she was hypnotizing Chad to uncover his memories when she was attacked-and after she came to she saw Chad standing over her, mistakenly assuming he was the killer. Will however, will have no known connection to the crime.

His murder will also throw Chad's theory that Clyde (James Read) is the one setting him up completely out the window as well, because it is now known around Salem that Clyde has been arrested because he is suspected of being responsible for the drug trade in Salem. With him in police custody, there is no way he could have killed Will-and Chad will be left struggling to figure out once again just who may be responsible for the crimes-and who killed one of his best friends.
