Hook & Evil Queen Are Set To Go On 'An Adventure' On 'Once Upon a Time'?
Rumple finally awoke from his coma but when Belle noticed the status of the rose, revealing Rumple had indeed woke up, he was missing from his bed. So what steps, if any, will Belle take to find him?
Once Upon a Time co-creators Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz spoke with TVLine on Friday about this storyline, particularly what Belle will do.
Why 'Once Upon a Time's Hook Will Be In a 'Tricky Situation' While Saving Emma From Darkness
"She knows he's been taken, she thinks Emma [Jennifer Morrison] is behind it, and she's going to go look for him.... Belle gets really strong this year." Kitsis teased.
"Belle is activated now. She knows he's awake and she's determined to find out what happened," Horowitz added.
With Rumple now possessing a clean heart, he cannot rely on his dark powers to get him out of a jam. Kitsis said Rumple is at a 5 out of 10 as far as completely helplessness.
"He has no magic, but he carries the wisdom of everything he's gone through," Kitsis said. "At the same time, he still probably wants to run rather than fight."
This season of Once Upon a Time has had some fascinating role reversals, with Rumple's darkness gone and Emma now serving as the show's primary antagonist. How long will these roles last? Only time will tell.
Once Upon a Time airs Sundays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
